Smiling Wings Days

Aviation Without Borders provides children with disadvantages the opportunity to discover the world of flying through special aviation discovery days, or 'Smiling Wings Days' as they are affectionately called. AWB works closely with many UK charities, organisations and flying clubs.

Whilst the emphasis is on having fun, the children learn about aircraft and flying, and of course actually enjoy a short flight. Children are able to experience this exciting day accompanied either by a parent or carer.

AWB hosts a number of Smiling Wings Days throughout the year at various airfields in the UK and invites locally-based groups to participate in these extremely popular events.
