A successful visit!
Two of our trustees were invited to give a presentation on AWB's history, activities and future plans to the Woking Branch of the Aircrew Association. The ACA has members drawn from a wide area to the south west of London. A very broad range of squadrons is represented. Although the majority of members served in World War II, many with amazingly vivid memories, there is an increasing number of younger serving and retired members. The evening was introduced by the Chairman John Thorburn. The trustees were given an enthusiastic reception and, judging by the questions raised and the information freely given by members about other organisations who might benefit from collaborating with AWB in the future, they found our aims and objectives most worthwhile and of great interest. They also made a most generous donation to AWB funds.
