Aviation Without Borders provides logistics for the airfreighting of humanitarian aid such as medicines, medical and surgical equipment, and food to various places in the world. The freight is carried mostly on board scheduled flights at
preferential rates, thanks to the cooperation of airlines.
AWB assists, for example, the UK charity Chain of Hope (whose founding patron is the eminent heart surgeon Professor Magdi Yacoub), with its shipments of medical equipment for its overseas medical missions.
AWB is contacted by NGOs requiring assistance with a wide range of humanitarian projects. Air cargo shipments have been made to destinations such as: Zimbabwe, Kenya, Chile, Peru, Madagascar and Jamaica.
