Virgin Money London Marathon 22nd April 2018

PLEASE SUPPORT OUR RUNNERS AND HELP US FLY DESERVING CHILDREN NATIONWIDE ON A FLIGHT OF THEIR LIVES.

Donations to https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/Batmobile

Aviation Without Borders (AWB) was looking for a runner for the Virgin Money London Marathon and for assistance a phone call was made to Gotham City.  Would Batman help? Yes was the answer, and not only would he run for us but he would bring Robin and the Batmobile as well.

Our Batman and Robin for the marathon are two stalwart brothers, Mark and Seb Lemon, who will run dressed as Batman and Robin whilst pushing a Batmobile.

The brothers have built their own version of the Batmobile and, dressed in costume, will push the home made vehicle the entire 26.2 miles of the Marathon.  Intrepid runners they are, and we can only take our hats off to their bravado.

Mark and Seb will certainly attract attention with their outfits, which of course is their intention, but they also hope to have fun from their fundraising and they hope their efforts will attract your intention too.  Please support Sam and Seb in their quest by donating to our charity at https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/Batmobile

Aviation Without Borders provides humanitarian assistance through aviation services and on one day in June each year we give up to 500 deserving kids in the UK a flight in a light aircraft.   On average we can fly each child for £13 per head so for only £130 we can fly 10 kids.  The experience broadens their horizons and can help change lives for the better.

We also offer support to other UK charities with overseas air cargo shipments and, in association with ASF International, an international aviation organisation, we are involved in air support for charities overseas. Please help with a generous donation to give deserving children in the UK the flight of their lives.
